I want to find out the history behind Vbus?
I heard someone called Emka in Poland created Vbus
But what year ?
Was it 2002 or before?
It must have been after Tokyo bus guide the first Bus game
(Japan Dreamcast)
If anyone have url for the first VBUS website created
i can check it out
or maybe EMKA is still around somewhere?
surely somehow must know the history behind Vbus
UPDATE:
I think this are Emkas website they are all down now
but you can Travel to the past with Internet wayback machine
The first Vbus website i can found is from 2003:
http://web.archive.org/web/2003010921373.../vbus.rulez.pl/
The web is archived from January 2003
so Vbus must have existed in 2002
maybe it was around 2002-2003 it was released?

There are names at the Home-Tab from the a5e.exe.. And in the others..
With the Copyright 2002 - 2005 (a5f)
So i think it started 2002
The Link is
http://vbus.rulez.pl/ - but there is an Fatal Error on the Website. Pity!
And

for my Bad English
J.L
Yea i also think it must have been 2002
As you can see on the First website by emka from january 2003
she/he states "work of vbus
continue"
DOWN WORRY ABOUT THE ERROR
go to Internet Timemachine here
and you can watch the Website how it was back in 2003
Click now:
http://web.archive.org/web/2003010921373.../vbus.rulez.pl/
Website says:
Vbus was created as experiment with Delphi GLScene
Hardware and software requirements: a graphics card supporting OpenGL (tested on Rivie 128, Radeonach 7500 and 8500), working at a resolution of 800x600 or higher, Windows (tested on 2000 and XP), a solid procek (but without exaggeration, people write that runs on celeronie 300, riva TNT2).
XP: Xp was released October 25, 2001 so Vbus must have been released
after XP was this again look like it must have been year 2002 Vbus was made
In February 2003 the website changed:
http://web.archive.org/web/2003021606274.../vbus.rulez.pl/
"Virtual Bus is a simple urban bus simulator, created as a result of experiments with Delphi and OpenGL. Permanently in the development phase"
You can download one of the first vbus here
Alfa 40:
http://web.archive.org/web/2003021623582...index.php?pg=20
Yes it work to download
The first bus created must have been Solaris 15
More buses from 2003:
http://web.archive.org/web/2003021606274.../vbus.rulez.pl/
You can download the buses too for old vbus

My first version of vBus was a47, don't know when, but it must have been around 2003
2002 seems to be realistic.

Are you Emka?
Update:
I checked and A41 was released in 2004
so A47 must be from 2004?
In February 2003 there was A40:
http://web.archive.org/web/2003021606274.../vbus.rulez.pl/
The first rrecord i have say Vbus was avaible for download
in 9 January 2003
So surely Vbus must have been avaible in Late 2002?
J.L
Emka from poland seem to be the Creator of Vbus
you see her/his website above
Vbus release date A40 Project 1 first public release?
if so that was 9 January 2002
(i dont have record before this date but it might be in 2002)

Oh yes correct there was more than one developer
yes A47 is probaly from 2004 since A41 is released in 2004
A40 can have been the first release in 2002-2003
atleast they must have started working on Vbus in 2002
gelenkbusdriver
When they start to make a new bussimulator only the developer know.
Maybe vBus was released in 2002

Or was there maybe a30 or something else.

I think this is a Major Version. And the earlier-Versions wasn't public ones.
